Conclave 2006 Checklist

While attending this years conclave, the webmaster does not wish for you to suddenly miss something that you wish you had. Therefore, he has made the following checklist of essential's and optional gear for you to bring.

1. At least 2 changes of clothes.
        You know the law, at ever Scout camping event there must be rain. bring extra clothes in case you get your clothes dirty or wet.
2. Scout Uniform.
3. Knife/Multi-tool
         A Scout should always have a knife on him. If nothing else, it helps you find something to do if your bored (Wittling)
4. Cot
5. Money
        You never know what they will have for sale, patches, hatpins, drinks and food, etc.
6. Hiking Staff.
7. Boots/Sports Sandals
        If you don't care if your feet get wet or not, sports sandals are just as good as boots, unfortunately, they don't offer much snakebite protection.
8. Flashlight.
        During the night at summer camp one year, the webmaster almost stepped on a skunk! Don't risk it! Bring a good flashlight!
9. Rinseless soap and shampoo.( If you can find any)
10. Water bottle/Camel Pack.
11. Sleeping bag/Blankets.
12. Scout Handbook, Fieldbook, and OA Handbook.
13. Poncho/Rain Gear.
OPTIONAL ITEMS
1. Camera.
        Digital or film, bring a camera, you can take pictures of camp mountaineer, have your picture taken on the zipline, or find Ms. Monongehela Lodge and get your picture taken with her!
2. Chair.
        You don't have to bring one, but it will make things more comfortable.
3. Musical instrument.
        A harmonica, guitar, or even a mouth harp can get a tune started around the campfire.
4. Fishing pole.
        Fishing may not be on the official agenda, but everyone loves to fish!
5. Extra Batteries.
        Especially goes for those of you who have digital cameras!
6. Personal Cooler.
        If you are driving yourself, think about bringing your own small ice loaded cooler with some drinks in it.
7. Books.
        If you can't get to sleep at night.
